Siloam Springs, Ark.: Cobb-Vantress, LLC, a global leader in poultry genetics, proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Montana Oubre as Senior Veterinarian—a strategic move that strengthens Cobb’s dedication to bird health, welfare, and customer success.

As a key member of Cobb’s Quality Care team, Dr. Oubre will advance veterinary standards and support innovative approaches to poultry health and biosecurity.

A Louisiana native, Dr. Oubre earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2022. He began his career at dsm-firmenich, specializing in nutrition-based solutions, blood biomarker technology, and gut health. His lifelong passion for poultry—rooted in raising and breeding exhibition birds—has shaped a deep understanding of avian health and nutrition, which he now brings to Cobb.

This appointment reflects Cobb’s ongoing investment in talent and innovation focused on strengthening customer partnerships and driving long-term success.
