Cobb Donates Over 11,000 Pounds of Protein To The Manna Center

Fighting Hunger Relief and Supporting Local Communities

Siloam Springs, Ark.: Cobb-Vantress, LLC, a global leader in poultry has donated more than 11,000 pounds of protein to the Manna Center in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to fighting hunger and strengthening local communities. This contribution is part of Cobb’s Miles That Matter (MTM) program, which turns team members’ physical activity—walking, running, biking, swimming, etc.—into meaningful impact. For every mile logged, Cobb donates a pound of protein to hunger relief efforts.

The Manna Center of Siloam Springs provides essential food and clothing assistance for up to 800 families each week, and this donation will help feed thousands across Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma.

“Since 2021, Cobb has provided more than 40,000 pounds of protein to the Manna Center through our Miles That Matter program,” said Trevor Gies, senior global marketing manager at Cobb. “Over the years, Cobb has donated food, supplies, and dedicated countless hours to volunteer efforts across the world.”

“The Manna Center is a wonderful community partner because it truly partners with communities all around the area,” said Rex Dickey, chaplain at Cobb. “It helps stock pantries in the area and feed people beyond the boundaries of counties and states. In short, it puts people first.”

Cobb is proud to stand alongside The Manna Center in its mission to make protein accessible and fight hunger for years to come. The annual MTM program continues to grow, with this year’s donation reflecting miles and kilometers collected by global team members across North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

“The Manna Center serves as a hub for other pantries, as well as helping supply food to families five days a week. The Holidays are of extra concern this year especially with all of the hardships families are facing,” said Marla Sappington, executive director of the Manna Center. “This donation is a true blessing from Cobb. We will be able to give protein to many families this season.”
