Siloam Springs, Ark.: Cobb-Vantress, LLC. a global leader in poultry genetics, today announced the recipients of its 2026 Cobb Research Initiative (CRI) grants. This year, eight projects have been selected to receive funding through the program, which supports research aimed at advancing poultry genetics and strengthening the future of food production.
Now in its fourth year, the CRI brings together leading researchers from a variety of scientific disciplines to explore new ideas, technologies and approaches that can help address some of the poultry industry's most important opportunities and challenges. Through collaborative partnerships, the initiative supports research in areas such as bird health, welfare, production efficiency and product quality.
"The quality and creativity of the proposals submitted through the CRI continue to demonstrate the tremendous potential that exists when diverse scientific perspectives come together," said Dr. William Herring, Vice President of Research and Development at Cobb.
